Our History
Creative Living Environments, LLC
On October 1, 2008 Creative Living Environments (CLE) entered a new era as it joined the Creative Community Living Services (CCLS) family. The CLE family of assisted living homes for older adults in Waukesha and Milwaukee counties was originally founded by Jeannine Baver in 1987. At the time, there were very few alternatives to nursing homes for elders who needed some assistance with daily living.
Over the years, homes were added to the CLE family; currently there are five neighborhood homes within Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Each home is unique, with a staff that goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that each resident feels at home. Throughout the years, the CLE staff has remained loyal to the company and their residents, as shown in low staff turnover.
In 2007, Jeannine made the personal decision to retire from the helm of CLE and sell the company. CCLS met her criteria that the new owners would ensure residents and staff are treated well and the same quality of care maintained. She was impressed with the quality of the staff and integrity of CCLS and that CLE would be in good hands and the potential is there to grow even better in the future.
